“Construction Management”

Date: Thu, January 10, 2013

About this program

Grade level(s):

Session #1 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.
Session #2 10:00 to 10:00 a.m.

When we think of careers in construction we typically think of those construction team members who are framing buildings, operating backhoes and heavy equipment, or pouring concrete.  But what about all those individuals who support the actual construction or renovation of buildings…People with job titles like estimator, sales manager, project manager or company president? These construction team members play a very important role in the management and completion of construction projects.

During the January 10th Careers in Construction program members of Associated Builders and Contractors – Northern Ohio Chapter, will share what they do on the job as staff members, oftentimes working behind the scenes to successfully complete a project.  Plus, they will describe the career path they have followed to their current position and job responsibilities.
